Hey all

With my stable of liberties growing I thought it time to join a forum and say hi. Got three in total

2010 GT Wagon
2014 Premuim Sedan
2008 2.5 Gen 4

The two sedans will stay stock as the day I bought them but im keen to mod the wagon a little. Starting with suspension set up. The wagon creaks and groans and rattles and generally needs some tightening up..... will ask you all for some input later....

As I said just saying hi for now :)

Rear swaybar upgrade from Cusco or Whiteline or Eibach will settle down a lot of the wagon squeaks. Will also reduce front tyre wear as less body roll :)

Thanks! Good tip!

OK two irritations with my wagon....... (should prob put in another thread but see how we go here first)

1) irritating creak/groan coming from the front drivers side firewall region when I go up and down roll gutters or ramps or anywhere with any kind of gradient..... Anyone else have this? My mother has a gen5 sport lib (sedan) which does the same thing! It almost sounds like the body/metal flexing. Seeing as ive only heard it in the GT and my mums sport, im thinking it may be something to do with the bilsteins?

2) Annoying "clunk" in steering when I turn the wheel right to left. Have pointed it out to Subaru at last service but they claim it is comparable to other liberties and outbacks, which I think is a crock of s**t. Any suggestions before I take it back to Subaru and kick off?

Cheers all

H

Ps how do I score myself a club lib sticker?? :)

I had a similar creak/rattle coming from the firewall flex, it is pretty common. Bought some 3d printed dash rattle stoppers from tom_kauf, about $10 IIRC and chucked two in and it has stopped the annoying rattle.

And the stickers pm 'poweredX' on here or im sure someone can get ahold of him on Facebook. :)
