SI Drive Cover

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Looks good, I prefer with the logo.

Out of those options I like the 'Liberty' one the best

To be honest, I'm totally on the fence on these. Probably because they all look good.

I can't really cast a vote for all, but I'll just say I'd be excited to have any of these 3. Most importantly, they'd all look factory on my car.

The SI-DRIVE logo is the winner if thats the case. Give everyone who has the feature to buy one of these babies!

I think that one thing to consider with the type is how small it'll be in real life. I have never seen the Prova knob in real life, but with 'longer' words like Liberty, it'll be even smaller. Might actually a bad thing.

I don't mind either way, but I'd rather not have STi.

FYI for all, the SI Drive text I made is in the same typeface as the Subaru models text but isn't actually ever used by Subaru.

I prefer the SI Drive logo too.. keeps it neutral and describes the actual function of the knob.
But Chris raises a good point, it will be small. The entire logo will be about 3cm long. Plenty big enough to read, but not sure how easy it'll be to machine.
FYI the Prova logo is only etched into their cap. Another option, but would have to be done by another party.

Count me in for one of these, they are looking really good. My vote is either SI Drive or without logo, but would be keen either way..
Adam, well done to you sir. Can't believe how quick you got all this happening!

I think id still prefer the 'Liberty' but the above folks raise a valid point that 'SI-drive' is alot more generic.

But while its all good to say its more generic therefore we can open them up to the american market, is everything such as the stock dial the same size etc, its also a lot of effort to open up an operation to an international level and adam may not have the time or want to do that, especially if with the cost of shipping etc will put the price up more to a less desirable amount to americans, who are used to getting car parts for a fraction of the price we aussies are.

EDIT: and having said that if it does become a hit with 'mericans, i would hazard a guess to say that they would be enough numbers to negate the first machining costs if they wanted 'Legacy' or something else anyway. I think Adam said above somewhere that after a certain number of people the initial machining cost will already be negated as much as possible?

I'm all for without logo's. can't see the point to have the SI logo on it when we have a badge right in front telling us what it is. but that's just me

I agree with you. If machining the lettering is gonna be a pain it's probably not worth it.
People could always get it etched in afterwards.

But if the majority want the SI or Liberty I'm cool with that too.

Very true, I hadn't consciously noticed that, but you're right. The engraved plaque in our cars that says Si Drive already looks pretty good (even if it is plastic). Engraving it on the dial as well might look a bit silly. I was actually leaning towards SI Drive as the engraving option, but together with what's already in the car, I'm not so sure anymore....
I'm leaning towards a blank dial for a classy understated design, but I'd be ok with any of the remaining 3 options.

No question IMO if any logo, the SI-Drive one is the most appropriate and looks great. The cover looks awesome and I can't wait to get one.

Im seriously fine with a blank dial. I would perhaps give people the option to pay extra if they want for engraving, otherwise leave it blank.
Cheers
