Introduction: My '04 Outback 2.5i - Volk CE28's

Hey guys,

Long time lurker, first time poster - Thought I better introduce myself.
Just recently picked up my second car and my first Subaru!
I've always been a big fan of cars and motorbikes (the classic kind) and have a soft spot for anything Japanese.

Before a big trip overseas last year, I sold my first car (1990 honda prelude) and, regrettably, my first classic bike (1979 Honda CX500)
I got back in December 2014 and have been saving for a new car since.

Here's a quick look at the old girls.

I've always loved the look and the practicality of wagons and thought I could handle (and afford) a beat up restoration project as a daily driver but after much deliberation looking at old Volvo 850R's and beat up, rusty 1960-70's wagons, I decided on getting something newer that would hold up on long adventure's as well as day to day reliable driving.

I settled on a 2004 Outback Premium pack 2.5i Manual in obsidian black pearl - I liked this model the best as it has the pre-facelift taillights/headlights (I've never been a fan of chrome taillights and the old school Japanese red/amber combo on these taillights is hard to beat)
So far it's the perfect blend of Japanese performance/wagon utility/wagon looks/4WD capability and offroad driving.

I then decided on some wheels (after a LOT of looking around - literally went through every forum and every google image to find something that I liked that would suit a black car)
I settled on some Rays Volk CE28's in Anodized Bronze (17x7.5 +50 - wrapped in Nexen SU1's in 225/55/17 for those of you playing at home)
They were second hand and they hurt my wallet - Like a lot, but I'm very happy with them and they are stupidly lighter per wheel than my stock 16" rims/tyres.

I will take some more pictures at some stage but the suspension isn't sitting quite how I want it just yet (I think it may be the self leveling rear struts?) so I want to wait until I have this ironed out.
