Top picture is on point Jack. Great timing.
The other 2 are just as cool.
Little update: I splashed out and bought a Sigma 50mm F1.4 lens last night. Flippin big step up from the Nikkor basics.

Jack_Keaka wrote:nice, i have the same lens. its solid and heavy, but fuck its sharp. one of my favourite lenses. it was the first FX lens i bought.
edit:
infact not only was this image the first shot i took with that lens, it was also the first click of the shutter on my new D600 at the time. i love this photo to bits. featuring my cat. haha

Nice. Try and set your iso lower if you can.
Get your hands on a copy of Lightroom 5 too. You should be able to download a trial version for a month free. It will help enhance your photos even more.

Yea I've got light room 5, i just wanted to demo the quality of image straight out of the camera. I also had the iso that high to again demo the noise performance and i didn't have my tripod set up so i wanted a hand holdable shutter speed, definitely the most astonishing thing about this camera is its range of usable iso, this paired with my a77ii means a have a camera for any shot since the a7s strengths are all the a77ii's faults and vice versa.
Just waiting on my ziess 35mm f14 to come in.
