Postby Jake.h71 » Thu Apr 09, 2015 11:50 am

Hey guys just wondering if anyone could provide me with any info or words of wisdom in regards to converting standard gen4 2004 liberty gt brakes to still brembos? Is it a straight bolt up?
Cheers jake

fronts from a subaru bolt up, rears need dogbone adapters and oversize parking brake shoes (but boltup other than that).

Also, prepare your pocket book for a shock, because you will be out at least 2k. Also you will need rims that clear them.

There were only 2 options for adapters that I'm aware of. Cruisin had some made up if I recall correctly.

Or the kart boy branded ones.
I think these are probably the only available options as new. Don't think cruisin still gets his made so that would only be a second hand option.

You can only do what you can do :) its not hard to make them fit if they already dont, just a bit of shaving. Not technically difficult just added time

Yea, talking minute amounts, just a simple dremel will get you there. Few threads on lgt.com showing what is needed. Or get searching for a set of tbsti rear backing plates from one getting wrecked. Managed to find a set of brembo's with backing plates and hubs for mine just recently.
