Oh the position of that screw wasnt too bad. I was expecting to see it right on the corner of the shoulder and wall. Big screw though. Glad to see it fixed. The ticking noise of that screw would have driven me nuts,
Cheers

Haha yeah that's how I found it. I heard the noise and found a lot of gravel in my tyres. So I got all the gravel out, then heard the noise again and checked the tyres and found more gravel. It wasn't until I took the wheel off on the weekend that I found the screw. I was expecting more gravel.

I've had a roofing tek screw in a tyre before, was not pleasant and the tyre was stuffed unfortunately.
Nice win for you that it was fixable :good:

So MSR just pulled my dump pipe off (which I bought 2nd hand 2 years ago) and noticed that I've got a 200 cel cat and says "that won't help your cause".... just what you want to hear right before your tune haha

why wont it help your cause? surely would not hinder airflow that much

Increases back pressure which will limit airflow although not by that much considering the small turbo housing will restrict airflow alot earlier than the 200 cel cat

i know the theory behind the backpressure topic but i would have thought 200 cel was still a 'high flow' cat. i wouldnt be that disappointed/nervous

MSR says a 100 cel cat will improve down low responsiveness.
Doesn't hurt peak power.
Didn't seem to cause my car too much distress, it's going so well now!! It's a big call but I think it'll run 12.5-12.7 territory now.

My understanding was that 200 was a high flow "street" cat and 100 was only supposed to be track because wasn't legal for emissions?

Don't everyone shoot the messenger... I was just relaying what my tuner said haha

The end result was 212.1wkw and 890nm of roller torque. Not sure how to convert that to a real torque figure, but from reading online you need to know the dyno roller diameters and all seemed too hard.

The important part is that the roller torque went from 700 on my old tune to 890 on this one. Huge increase in torque!!! Feels Sooo much faster than my old tune!
