I finally got a set of STi pink springs yesterday (after 2 years of trying). I bought the set off gumtree that was linked in the great buys thread... it wasn't easy to beat all of the sedan owners to it!

It REALLY grinds my gears (car reference) that the sedan owners buy the wagon springs... wagon pink springs are so rare in comparison to sedan springs, and so many wagon owners would love a set... It would be awesome if the sedan members considered their fellow wagon members first before pouncing on such a rare item.

Correct me if I'm completely and utterly wrong, but I thought you could use sedan springs with saggy butt spacers in a wagon?

Yeah you can... but its a band-aid solution. Given the choice, every wagon owner would rather the correct spring for their car.

I received the pink springs today. The part numbers of the springs show that they're for pre-face liberty's. This worried me as I thought the weight of the post-face would be too much for them at the front. But then I read the springs also suited 3.0L liberty's which I imagine are heavier than the 2.5 so it should be fine..... I hope! Haha

Also bought myself a turbo heat blanket yesterday... really keen to see if they help with heat soak as much as they claim.

Starting to get pretty excited... got a lot of parts starting to build up at home.

The Intercooler is on, headers and up pipe purchased, cold air intake, fuel pump, fuel pump filter, turbo blanket and sti springs.

Can't wait for the tune now... can't install the CAI or headers until the tune... might do the fuel pump and blanket this weekend as its killing me seeing it all sitting there!

I actually dont mind them to be honest. Sure they are firm, and you do ride every undulation but it's not as rock solid as I was thinking it was going to be. Either that or my old shocks were that stuffed that I thought it was normal. haha

Im still tossing up whether or not to up the rear sway to a firmer setting. Reckon there is room for tweaking there.
