Had a small-ish accident

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

LOL! As long as there's a Liberty STi wrapped around those Brembos, then yeah... I'm game :)

As you stated you made a mistake, so be it. People make mistakes every day.

Let me ask you this, if you pay your ticket for your neg drive, does it really matter how many cars your "at fault" for damaging? I mean if your insurance told you that they would just see you at fault for damaging the car in front, but not all the others, that is in no way going to change your excess at all.

Just pay the ticket, it will then go away. No court to go to, and youll learn. Most people have been in a similar situation before. It's not the end of the world. Give it a few weeks and you would have forgot all about it.

Yeah... its more of a bruised ego thing than anything else. I've prided myself for not having a single at-fault accident in the 22 years that I've been driving.

In any case... thanks for the hard cold truth. I needed that. Preciate everyone's view points.

And don't forget that insurance companies will do all they can to avoid paying up, so don't think they wont fight the blame seeing as how your car is barely damaged... For the guy in front to pop radiator being shunted into the car in front, you would have had to hit him very hard indeed (doing decent damage to your car)... Insurance companies are repairing cars all day/every day, they know what it takes to do damage... I went through this last year.
