I have just joined the forum and have spent the last few hours reading the many interesting topics! Anyway, here is my story:

I am currently living in Switzerland and will be moving to Brisneyland at the end of this year. I left Melbourne over two years ago and had a tear in my eye when I had to sell my MY05 Lib GT at a ridiculous price (long story). I have (almost) convinced myself that I will buy an MY08 GTB Sti Wagon 6MT when I arrive back in Oz. Here are my questions:

- does anyone know how many of these "limited edition" cars are left in the country?
- should I be looking for one now?
- in my MY05GT, I had to get the drivers seat lowered as my head touched the roof - does anyone know if the MY08 GTB has more headroom, or will I have to do the same thing?
- does anyone have photo of a "stocko" MY08 GTB STi Wagon in Grey and/or Silver? (I have seen plenty of Black and White Wagons on the forum)

Ahh Switzerland, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Stayed in Interlaken for a couple of weeks, breath-taking scenery!

Denlo subaru had a (white?) 08 sti wagon a few days ago when i was there.

I just ordered my grey sti wagon last night. I opted for the auto, and there was one other one available. Stocks are mainly now only white and black with a few silver and grey about.
Subaru are offering quite a few deals at the moment and I managed to get about 6 grand knocked off as well as all onroads and delivery thrown in - plus a good trade on my wrx.
I'm a happy man at the moment. It will take a few weeks to get from where ever it is located.
Dealers had to buy these upfront, so the stock is all over Australia - Dealers who have sold their allocation get them from wherever they can and freight them. There are more autos than manuals about, and I think some colours are gone in the manual range. Good luck in getting your baby!
