My first service - when? (2.5i Liberty)

My first service - when? (2.5i Liberty)

Postby davidnewtown » Wed Sep 10, 2008 12:47 pm

Hi All,

I've had the Liberty for a bit over 2 months and the dealer have thoughtfully booked me in for early October. Currently I've only done a little over 2,000kms (mostly thanks to a trip to the snow last week) so by the time the first service is due the car will be 3 months old and probably under 2,500kms.

Is it necessary to take it in then? Or should I wait until the odometer reads 5,000kms?

I believe the service sticker would have read 5000km or 3 months. If it did, take it for a service at 3 months (which is probably what the dealer did fo you).

Enjoy the first service bill as the following ones won't be as enjoyable to pay. I paid $105.00 for the first service :D, then over $300 for the following visits.
