I used 7-Zip (http://7-zip.org) to extract the files (for some reason WinRAR which normally works fine with 7-Zip archives didn't work).
I've updated 1st post in this thread with this info.

Got it. Thanks for that. I had to do it on a windows computer as i have a mac. I thought they said once you go mac you don't go back, humm except for this hey. :)

I'm noticing that the overwhelming majority of people are not re-seeding the torrent after downloading.

If this continues I will have to turn it off as I cannot sustain the bandwidth being the sole source.

PLEASE continue re-seeding the torrent.

So I am trying to get the C1 to work in my Forester (MY08). Forester current has original V13 disk.

So far I had used four DVD's. Three at x 1 speed burn and One at x2 speed with isoburn and get the same "this is not a map dvd" message.

Anyone here able to give some suggestion to what I could try differently? I have a little time until I try again as I source a cheaper supply of dual layer DVD's.

Did you set the Layer Break to 1261456 as the post on the 1st page of this thread mentioned?
I'd also suggest ImgBurn, since that's worked well for me and some other members. But apart from that, not sure :? ....

EDIT: There's a chance you need C2, but I'm not sure about Foresters. 2009 was when Libertys went from Gen4s to Gen5s (MY10), and with that the newer Nav with C2 discs. So maybe 2008 Foresters need C2? Dunno - you'd know better than we do...

Sorry it was imgburn... my mistake it that. I also did change the layer break as posted earlier.

Only thing I can put it down to is maybe my dvd burner is the issue at the moment as I read someone used a different one and worked first time.

Oh ok, I missed your earlier post. Hmm, weird. I'm using pretty pricey TDK dual layer DVDs. But apart from my edited suggestion above regarding versions (and the burner being the issue), there's not much else it can be.

How big is the C1 image?

I didn't need a DL disk for the C2, it was well under 4.7GB. Using Imgburn at 2.4x with verification and it worked first time.

Have you tried different brand DVD's? I used to have all sorts of wacky things happen when I was using the el-cheapo white printed ones, Sony's have been my go-to DVD's since then and I've never had a problem.

It's 4.45GB (4,779,573,248 bytes). So I dunno if that puts it over the limit.
From what I've read, disc manufacturers assume: 1 KByte = 1000 bytes, but computer software correctly assumes: 1 KByte = 1024 bytes. So 4.7 (disc manufacturers) GBytes = 4.38 (computer software) GBytes.

I've just started a download (I'm doing C1 & C2, why not help someone out!), I'll leave my torrent client to seed it for a long time after I download (I don't pay for uploads, so that's rather handy)...

The C1 torrent is much healther - I've got a tonne of peers on it. For C2, I have 3 peers...
