Huge post dig up, but can I ask is this done with the VHT SP735 Cast Aluminium Caliper Paint?

No, thats using Subaru 51E Brilliant Silver. VHT cast aluminium isnt a metallic.

Who mixes your paint Mark? Is it usually a pain to get heatproof paint custom mixed?

Silver/polished colour can get lost against the disk rotor, but when onlookers spot my calipers: game over :P
