Greetings!

Hi folks, Rob is my name. Living down on the Peninsula with the boss and two rug rats.

Just purchased my first Subaru. It's a MY10 Outback 3.6 R Premium and loving it. :D
Love it that much that the poor old motorbike has not turned over since I picked it up.

It is replacing a 02 Magna that I've had since new (some 250000 kms ago) which has been an excellent reliable beast. I still have it though will sell the preloved girl once I get a towbar fitted to the Outback.

Still getting used to the Subaru, but loving the engine. Driving in S# mode is particularly fun. Though still adjusting to the AWD bit. Pulling out in traffic and putting foot down is somewhat different. Doesn't understeer like the Mitsubishi!

Only just discovered this forum today so I'll try and find the answers to my questions before reposting a thread previously discussed.

Cheers Rob

Welcome aboard. You'll have a lot of fun here (and probably curse it along the way with how much money you'll end up spending on mods).
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

Welcome to the forum!

As Jeff said - ideas, pics and fun are aplenty here to be had

Worth getting in touch with a tuner like Matt (KiDo Racing) and others to make the 3.6NA even more driveable esp in s# :D

see link below for other GenV profiles and ideas. A few (but not all) of the mods on lib wagons should be applicable to the MY10 outback too

Thanks guys,
I tried to post a pic with my initial intro post, though it was too large. I'll have to try remember how to shrink pics again. Lost the software when I built a new pic. Not sure if I can post images from phone as I feel they will be too large.

Those vids are cool, and yes I can see $$$$$$ being spent. First thing is try and sort a second fob key. Car only came with one. Somehow in between the previous owner trading it to the dealer, then the car being palmed off through wholesaler to Subaru dealership one key has vanished.

I use imgur - if you upload with imgur, then you can select 'large thumbnail' under sizes, and then push the cut/paste button for the "linked bbcode" then paste it into the post.

If your using an apple device you can download the "minima" App. You can change the size if the image. Works well.
