Sorry to hijack your thread Jay but how are you finding the Goodyears after driving on them for a while?
Looking at getting some new tyres soon and the asym 2s in your current spec is topping the list.
Cheers.

They are very good but you gotta get them at the right price. I got them on the 4 for 3 price deal.
I have started breaking traction in dry conditions now they are worn to 1mm above the indicators......never used to happen when they were newer.....

I'm going AD08R's next for full stickyness. 8)

The AD08R's sound like they'll suit you perfect with that semi-slick goodness!

Or i'll break drive train again.......

Over the next 2 weekends I'll be trying to squeeze in time to do the following:
Passive heat reflection (more reflect-a-gold)on sump near header primaries.
Exhaust wrap (well I'll attempt it) for primaries to further help with this.
Also going to fit the Perrin up pipe blanket.

Hopefully this will allow many WOT pulls without oil temp getting too high :D

Will post results.

Reflectagolded the sides of the sump near the headers and yes the oil temp sensor is reading lower!
Impressive.

Still have to investigate installing the up pipe blanket and wrapping the headers though. hopefully have time on the weekend.

Project Mu rotors kill the DBA 4000's recommend them for sure wit hteh Project Mu Club racer pads.
Smoother and harder pullups, winning!!

Good stuff mate, where did you get the reflectagold tape from, sounds like a great idea. I will be wrapping my new dump pipe, headers and up-pipe in dei titanium wrap and putting a titanium turbo beanie on as well as welding a couple of threaded lugs to the dump pipe for a custom heat shield.

Got this gold from GoGear as I was there anyways but if you have time you can get it cheapish on ebay.

Found a leak today when I redid the PCV and catch can plumbing.
The cover that Grimmspeed provided for the PCV barb had failed and was torn on the underside about 120degrees!!!

After the ECU reset the Lib ran so solid until the TCU started to intervene...too much torque while still on converter I think.

Straight after a reset this is a fantastic car but then performace is limited some how.....

4 bar map sensor and as many psi as we can get out of a Dom 1.5xtr at the retune next Monday will help and hopefully we can stop this TCU intervention somehow. :D

If anyone has the PCV covered by the Grimmspeed rubber cover, please check it has not failed!!
