Hey Guys,

Just wondering what your thoughts are on these rims
http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/store/wheel ... ckage.html

I know the price is quite steep but just wondering if anyone has any experience with the brand or model.

Thanks!

hey man

Funny that you post this, because i actually just received a set of 527's in the post this morning. I have not mounted it on my car yet.

I personally think that XXR 527's are great for the liberty in terms of style, price and build quality.

However, it is likely that you will need to roll your rear guards to avoid any scrubbing from the tyres. (based on experience from current members)

18x8.75 +35 is probably the widest rim and the lowest offset that you can go with to avoid serious guard modification (pulling).

In terms of tyres, 225/40/18 tends to fit the guards the best. 235 will also work well too (less stretch), but you will probably need to roll and pull your guards.

Have a look at this dude who fitted some on a while back viewtopic.php?f=19&t=19297

Ill upload some photos when i get mine fitted on

Hope this helps

Congrats on getting the wheels in noobness, they'll look really good! I don't really want to have to roll my guards though as that's a cost I can spend on better rubber. Has anyone had any experience with DTM P10.1? I can't seem to find much information on this company. A full set costs 799 (see the link...http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/321103706784?nav=SEARCH)

I understand you get what you pay for but my wallet won't allow me to get big brand wheels
