work emotion 11R

Postby stanysurfer » Sat Oct 25, 2014 10:50 pm

Hey everyone! I am thinking about getting some new wheels for my car and just wanted a bit of advice. Have done a fair bit of research, just wanted to get some feedback from the pros!
I am leaning towards Work Emotion 11R wheels. I am thinking 18 x 8.5 +47 or 18 x 7.5 +53, obviously with a 5 x 100. What of these two would look better, stance wise and fitment? I am leaning towards to 7.5 cause then i can use the tyres I already have on the car at the moment.
Next question is what colour, I have a black car ( I will put a photo up tomorrow after I clean her), I am thinking about getting the bronze at this stage, with maybe blue lug nuts (something like in the pic)..
Also, where would you recommend buying them from? Any comments are greatly appreciated! Cheers

wheels look killer.

It depends on what you're planning to do with your tyres. If keeping existing tyres then 7.5s for sure unles you are running tyres that will stretch.

Lug nut color is up to you. The blue ones on black car will stick out like dogs balls I reckon. Reckon chrome or silver. Recommend getting calipers sprayed too to make the look more justified.

Yeah I am leaning towards the 7.5 on bronze so I can use my tyres on my stockies. So no to the blue nuts with the bronze then? I might just get black then! Yeah will def need to spray the calipers, is that hard to do urself?
Will the 7.5 with that offset sit ok within the car?

Up to you to be honest re: lugnuts but if it were me I wouldn't choose that color. Black next best option. Caliper respray depends on if you do it yourself or get someone to do it.

Get offset of at least 40. 35 ok but you may need to roll the guards.

18x8.5 will fill the guards more, the 7.5s will look similar to your stockers. Cruisn here had similar so search that maybe...

The 8.5s also allow bigger brakes iirc :)

But you may require wider tyres & eg coilovers to perfect the stance :)

Yeah they do look really good, maybe I will go with the 8.5 wide then with the +47 offset, that should look pretty good hey!

Yeah a 8.5 would be ideal with the right offset. Keen to see pics of the car with these on.
