Hi all,

Quick economy update on my KiDo tuned '07 GT wagon w/5EAT (no other mods)
Wakefield Park to Blue Mountains, ~220km each way, 115kph cruise control = 7.6l/100km average.
Very happy with those numbers as my old '04 2.5l auto liberty wagon would struggle to get 500k to a tank on a similar drive.
PLUS, the KiDo tune shifts and accelerates like it should when given the opportunity :)

I've been playing with modified cars (from RX3 to R32GTR) for nearly 20yrs and the KiDo Tune is possibly the BEST $400 modification I have ever spent.
It's transformed a nice everyday car into something I enjoy driving, thanks Matt.

Mark :)

I'm pretty keen to get a tune too. All these positive reviews, especially about fuel consumption, has me pretty keen.

Never had a car tuned before, though. So, a bit tentative!

Are there any new updates for the H6 Spec b tunes yet, such as flat foot shifting?

Spoke to a shop re exhaust systems today and he quoted me a price for an Ecutek tune as wel after the TBE. I advised I was getting a Kido tune so wouldn't need it. He told me he's seen blown engines from street tunes and the whole convo freaked me out lol I don't recall him actually saying he's seen a Kido tuned car blow an engine but he said he's taken them off unhappy customers before. Being new to all this I have no idea what to believe. I know there are a lot of good reviews on here for Matt AND he's a competing tuner so ... just freaked is all.

Can anyone put my mind at ease re being booked in for a Kido tune in his upcoming Perth visit?

All engines explode. People get unhappy with everything. Unless you're doing something new or crazy, I really don't think it would make a HUGE amount of difference. (blasphemy!). As long as you're not pushing the boundaries, you'll be fine*

* Note: not an actual garauntee - herein lies the problem, your engine could explode tomorrow from say ... a dodgy FPR, or some weird fuel contamination or.. whatever.
