3GEN STI springs in bilsteins

Postby Ritchie141011 » Fri Oct 03, 2014 11:57 pm

Hey everyone

So ive got a 3GEN RX Liberty. Currently running Bilstein suspension all round instead of the boaty stock suspension. I love it however i am sick to death and beyond of the front wheel gap, every 3GEN has it so im wondering what springs have people put into stock/Bilstein suspension to lower it. I dont want to ruin the shocks anytime soon but i want about a 20mm drop to even it out, or even 30mm if possible. Ive been offered some STI Spec R springs (not pinks) would these fit the bilsteins? if not am i better off going with actual STI Pink springs.

ive seen a B4 running STI pinks and it looked pretty sweet pretty much exactly what i want but i dont know where to get them.

No coil overs!!

Thanks everyone :)

First time on here too, hello!

Gen3 is slightly lighter than gen4, so using gen4 springs might not go as low as you expect.
I'd go for king normal lows on front, or yahoo Japan via jessestreeter.com or import monster for BE/BH suspension.

STi springs are the perfect ride height on my Gen3 GTB and got rid of the wheel gap.

You can still get the springs new from JapanParts or s/h from the Yahoo Auctions if your lucky.

OK I might look into finding some STI pinks then. Thanks. Want to try and keep it genuine Subaru/STI rather than kings if possible. Have heard mixed stories about kings.

Thanks guys :)
