2 Y's might not help either.
Thus use a big damper or a dual entry FPR eg Turbosmart 1200 that contains a big damper...

Consider this^
Cheers and looking forward to the fix.

I changed Pcv to a known working one and also booster vacuum hose as I found a slight split in it (hadnt gone all the way through but changed it for good measure anyway)

Also checked evap solenoid and it was not cracked

Checked all vacuum/ boost /manifold hoses

Also checked the coils as you suggested Benny and they're fine

Problem is still there

Going to try someone else's maf sensor tomorrow night and see how we go

If its not maf then it has to be the fuel pressure regulator or fuel related

Diagnosis by deduction sucks

Could still be a Subaru issue or tune related..

Yes it could be

Fkn pos Subaru's. I don't know why ppl bother with these cars.

If I knew three years ago what I know now....

Anyway - no one has answered yet whether the slight uppipe leak pre turbo is enough to cause what I'm experiencing

Process of elimination mick....

The GTB cars are great but with big mods I'm learning how frustrating they can could be !

Yeah I know newbie

But I disagree

The only good Subaru's are the ones in Japan only - jdm sti's

Rest are rubbish

Something else just occurred to me

I set up the $10 antilag as per this thread:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=2540082

Never really got it to work properly

However the hardware is still all connected (ie relay and switch and wires interrupting the maf wiring so when the switch is pressed it cuts the intake air temp)

Long and short - could this be causing some problem now?

I can feel the problem getting gradually worse too

For eg. When I used to hold my foot on the brake and load it up in first (brake boost) - if the headers were cold it would sit at 2500rpm and 2-3psi. It wouldn't buck and surge and lean out though.

If I do that now, it surges and leans out just like when I'm going up a hill or hit that load/ rev zone while driving.

So its getting worse progressively.

Will try undo all the hardware for the antilag this weekend and see what happens

I just realized something

That graph shows a lean spike at 85-90kmh

That's at about 3000-3500 rpm - so not at the rev and load zone I'm experiencing

Just to clarify, it shows we did 15 runs on the dyno graph. We fixed the lean stumble issue that occured in runs 8 and 10 by run 11 ;)

So today I changed the maf, checked all inlet pipes and hoses again.

Last night the alternator belt snapped on my way home so I changed that today too.

I also flashed a tune Matt sent me with the calculated engine torque etc excluded.

Problem is still there

This has to be a per turbo exhaust leak as there is nothing else that could cause this

Entire headers, uppipe, turbo etc is coming off next weekend. At this stage I'm also considering swapping rear turbo housing to a 0.63 as I'm over the lag of this thing

Don't be fucking soft and change the rear housing. Just get your hesitation fixed and drive the ass off it.

Ask Jack, he thinks your car is perfect, fuck the lag.

If you don't want lag, drive my car...total opposite.
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

IMO nothing wrong with changing the rear housing. Hopefully we'll finally see an 11 second pass we're all waiting for :)
