Well I have more praise for Matt. Met up with him the last 2 nights running. First night was the wife's MY06 Forester (non turbo) auto. Wasn't looking for any real performance gains, more so better fuel economy and improved gearbox changes. Got both the later and increased performance and the car is a lot nicer to drive.

Then tonight, took my MY10 LGT manual for another tweak and this included the flat floor shifting and launch mode. Even if I don't use it often I love the sound of the engine bouncing off the limiter at 4800rpm. Anyone would think I was 27 and not 47 years old

I love this car and it only gets better, thanks to Matt :ok:

Hey hey!

Looking at getting some Raptor headers installed at some point and wanna get a re-tune as soon as possible afterwards. When will Matt be in Brisbane next?

Cheers,

Josh

I love tuning late model cars that give some amazing gains :)

Been tuning the FB20/FB25 Subaru engines for nearly 3 years now. Surprising thing is how much they can pick up from just a tune.

This is the FA20 Impreza/XV stock tune Vs 3 runs on the first revision, no changes in fuels, no intake mods etc, just pure power gains from unlocking the factory ECU's software.

Biggest gain is shaving over 2 full seconds off the 0-100kph sprint(12.8 down into the low 10's and high 9's) but the other big gain is being able to accelerate from 1000rpm in top gear, most of the FB20 owners know that getting them to even move above 3000rpm is a chore, the engine now is more willing to rev to the point, top gear at 2000rpm going up hill will pull as good, if not better than 4th gear did at the same rpm.

For those H6 owners with a KT tune doing 60kph in 6th gear without bucking or surging or the engine wanting to lose engine speed, you will know what I am talking about!

Great work Matt. I had one of these Imprezas for work last year and with that 2.0L in auto form it was a terrible performer. No pull at all, you had to wring it's neck out to get anywhere! A tune like this would have been nice.

Nothing like my H6, it pulls in 6th without a problem even from 60kph.

I am in Newcastle. What are the chances of getting a tune sometime for my 08 H6?

Is it worth buying a Tactrix cable for myself? (I am a software engineer so relatively tech savy)
