Finally got a Subi! MY05 GT Wagon

Postby ZanTheMan » Mon Aug 25, 2014 2:09 pm

Hey guys,

I'm Zander from Hobart
Last week I bought my MY05 Liberty GT manual wagon.
I had been searching for one for about 10 months and finally came across one which ticked all the boxes. So happy with it, really a big step up from an '86 Corolla!

It's completely stock apart from being lowered but due to my steep driveway it'll be going back on the stock springs for a while.

Aiming for new wheels, mesh grill, at least a CBE and a tune in the near future.

Cheers!

Ps. Anyone want to buy a 1986 Toyota Corolla Twin Cam Seca?

Just installed GFB Respons adjustable BOV
Blacked out the wheels

Had it in at Subaru, had the classic shudder on idle problem, turned out to be dirty injectors. Now it's running like a dream!

On the way are;
- JP Carbon Mesh Grill
- Ultrex CBE

Then it needs a tune and I might just enjoy it for a while before modding further

Sometime in the future it'll be bigger turbo, UEL headers, TBE and a reasonable tune

GOD DAMN IT! :angry2: I have no spare cash at all! Might just have to be satisfied with an Autocraft tune until next time

Congrats on pickup Zan.

GONEWALKABOUT, Also needed for this turbo is a custom uppipe too as 05 GT are twinscroll stock.....

Please check facts before posting suggestions to new members.

For an 05, just go dump pipe and tune, TBE/CBE not needed to get a great increase.
