liberty tb sti 07 and 08- prices

Postby walbjj » Mon Aug 25, 2008 4:02 pm

bill buckle in brookvale have given a price of $73k for a black manual wagon. no other options. this was a walk off the street price, no bargaining.
obviously there is room to move, and im looking at getting the ipod plug, the rear cargo mat.
another thing i really want is the 07 charcoal rims, this is a sticking point for me.
anyway, from my research, i have found a wide degree of prices, from t-rexx getting his sedan for $65k drive away (apparently his was the last, so they probably just wanted it gone), to $79k for a sedan (this was a carsales ad and the seller mentioned it in the ad.
it would be really helpful if people can provide some numbers.
oh, and another thing, there seems to be much more sedans than wagons, and much more autos than manuals going around

My manual was leased June 07 for $72,990 drive away and dealer would not move on this price. I got the 6MT w/ charcoal rims. Dealership threw in floor mats (wow how nice of them). MY07 models were 50 /50 sedan/wagon from memory. I was very happy then getting 6MT w/ charcoal wheels and nothing has changed. Good luck but remember this is a limited editon (300 in 07 and 250 in 08) so dont stuff around if you find one.

Yeah give Stuntgirl a call if your buying new, I have only heard good things

There is no way I would be paying nearly 80 THOUSAND DOLLARS for a Subaru Liberty.

That is just ridiculous.

im not physically in a dealer anymore. but i still help people with their sales.

since i cant do the whole sales process with you, i just help when it comes down to the buying price. when you think you have the best price and your almost happy to put down the deposit, check in with me.. if i can save you a few bucks from that i will... if i cant then you know you are getting the best price.

i can help both syd and melb buyers, subaru and VW

Bought mine brand new mid-late sixties drive away, but I waited till there was very few left and they were keen to shift it as the MY08's were just around the corner

Haha. How very true. Years ago when I was buying the MY05 GT, I tried to negotiate a lower price, and the dealership just laughed in my face. They told me they were high in demand and negotiating was not possible. They said my choices were either the door or the pen (for signing the contract).
