Hey Fellas!

im luke, 21 living in sunny brisbane, just bought a MY04 GT liberty Black in colour of corse!

i originally just liked the shape of the MY04s and wasnt looking at GT's but after i test drove my first GT i haggled the price and had it within a fortnight! i am usually very picky with cars and have never kept a car longer than 6 months, but i am absolutly in love with my GT i wash it every week and love an excuse just to drive it!

the car came stock with alloy sill cover things head light covers (which i have since removed) a tow pack with oil cooler and 110xxxklms on the clock.

first thing i did was upgrade the 17" GT wheels with 18" Shadow alloy Bspec rims with new tires, then i added a GFB Blow Off Valve (which i realised was pretty pointless on an auto, still love the sound when im up it and holding it in manual mode! ) and picked up a set of Whiteline lowered springs and had those fitted.

now my plans are to get rid of the boot spoiler, lower her a bit more in the rear as it doesnt seem to sit how i like it, looking into some custom Kmac Springs for the rear, then add some sway bars to stiffen her up, im tossing up whether or not to pick up a ING body kit from PHAT like Libido's  i love libidos GT!! and then il move onto the engine, i would love to see 200 kw at the wheels eventually and i think that would keep me happy for a while!

pics before lowering.

Nice looking car mate!

I think the Spec B 18's actually look really good on the pre-face lift Lib's. Just powder coat them & you'll be like me! :P

200kw ATW isn't an easy task my friend... Or should I say not a cheap task  But she'll be a bloody ball tearer!

Welcome mate.

Definitely an awesome car at 21. I would like to say that I have a GT at 18, but it'd be lying. I do however have the 2.5i. Good luck on your quest for 200kw. I'll need more than luck to get 200kw form my car. :D

few better pics of the front view with the whiteline springs fitted, now im not after a low rider buy any means BUT i would like to remove a bit more wheel arch gap... so i have got a quote for custom made Kmac springs that will bring the car down about a nother inch in the rear and just under an inch in the front- so i will probably go ahead with those springs in the coming weeks.

also i had my girlfriends mother back into my car last week, luckily her towball only connected with my number plate!! i was freaking out..

Ha ha, I can't help but read your thread title as "Time for Nitro".

Lucky escape with the towball too.
