So did the following today in an attempt to fix the stumble I'm having:

Cleaned maf sensor
Changed plugs
Checked coils which were fine
Checked all vacuum lines
Inspected 02 sensor for any obvious damage and there was none

None of the above fixed the issue

I'm going to strip the wastgate tomorrow and see if its leaking from there (or the weld to the twist mount adapter as this is where I think it may be cracked)

Starting to piss me off this thing

Good to say though the car is generally running better with new gaskets from last week, new plugs and a clean maf

Dr.corporatebankingmanager, have you checked the flanges from your headers to up pipe? A few high power Subies we've got have all warped their flanges and produced leaks from there.

Mick have you checked spark leads for a break down with a tester or am I on wrong track ?

Also interferences around spark plug coil areas...

I would also go back to timing

I think newbie is referring to the electrical harness / clips that go to the coil packs

Yes have checked those as well as changed spark plugs

Seems its exhaust leak related or fuel pump / filter to me

Owen as per msg - gaskets on headers were changed last week (used the grimmspeed double thickness fire-ring gasket for headers to uppipe 3 bolt). The surfaces were not 100% flat so I flattened them as best I could with a flat surfacing stone. Its not leaking from there but for good measure I'm going to get 3 new high tensile zero stretch bolts and replace.

Will keep this thread updated for future reference

Just cleaned it gb - good point you raise. If all else fails then ill buy a new one. Don't particularly want to spend more money "just in case" at the moment
