Parrot asteroid mini instead of mki9200?

Postby GREyGhost » Thu Sep 11, 2014 9:43 pm

I've been informed by a local sound tech about the parrot asteroid mini, he said it has all the features of the mki9200 plus an already inbuilt AUX out so all is needed is to hook it straight into the AUX port.

Anyone know anything about this as a suitable option for 07 with mcintosh system with nav?

You would need to confirm if the Aux out can output the bluetooth audio as well as streamed audio.
Looking at it, I'm not sure it will as it still requires the ISO cable for the car.

If it does work, it does however add an extra step when answering the phone in your car. You would probably have to press the aux button on the McIntosh (if you are listening to a different source - radio or cd), but it's better than nothing at all.

I'm still chasing the specs on the mcintosh interface cable for you.
