I have updated the original post to include my feedback on the mods I've installed. Just pictures by itself adds no real value as the point of this post was to give others perspective on the various mods available!

swingn wrote:Where's the pic of you in the ASN T-Shirt Jim?!?

I'm looking to tune the shirt first ...

Haha. If that were the case I would have bought my chromies by now. Naw, mate. It's all about priorities.

AdamW wrote:Favorite visual mod would have to be the Liberal vented front fenders.. They really set the car apart from other liberties and give it that muscle car or euro super sports car look.. Wonder if it w ill look as good in silver…

Haha. They only come in silver, Adam! I had to get them stripped and repainted black.

senator wrote:But everyone is allowed to do what they want..... when they want........

Haha. Thanks, Tony. I'm modding the car for my own selfish benefit. I don't mod for power or for numbers, so have nothing to prove. As long as I'm happy driving it day to day, I'm happy.

blacknwhite wrote:oks bloody great dude (except for the wheels.......Ill take em if ya like!)

These wheels must be quite ugly! Everyone keeps telling me how crap they are and offering to take them off my hands for cheap!

Well Well do I have the deal for you!!!
You have mentioned previously that you were looking for 20" rims & above your after chrome, well I can fix that little dilemma, I have both the 20" & the chrome & I'll be the one needing deeper pockets :D :D
so what do you say ???

BTW That car looks damn nice, LOVE IT

Ric I Think we can replace the pics of the shirts up top with a pic of Jims car

Hi Jim, I think you should seriously consider putting your car in a magazine like HOT 4s or Auto Salon???

Hi Jim,

Fantastic write up....seeing your car in the flesh is unreal....and the write up as said before is great for newbies like myself.....fav mods of yours I'd have to say are the rear window lip, the vented guards (fkn hot!) and the general class of the car.....Bravo!

Naw. My car doesn't have enough chrome bits on it. :D Nor does it have 20" semi-ugly chrome wheels, re-upholstered seats, gigantic sound system, sponsored by a panel beater shop, or is a Silvia, Skyline, Impreza, Lancer, or RX-7/8. :D

I was actually thinking that we (As a forum / club) could submit several cars to something like that.

Most of us here have done mods, but in different ways & getting different results in terms of drivability & looks.

We could show them some Lib powwaaa! :D

It might conflict with their Liberty proect they have on at the moment. I saw in the Hot 4's October issue AVO Melbourne had started a project with a MY05 Liberty GT. They threw on an intake and one other item (can't remember) and did a tune. I think they plan on the wheels, top mount, exhaust, suspenion next.

As much as I appreciate them finally exposing the Liberty as a good potential for modding, they make it sound like they're the first ones ever to do so.
