OK well first dibs on the steering wheel audio controls if you can get em off 8) Thanks!

from your pic, the looks like a pre facelife, cat has a facelifted one.

so the audio controls no can work on yours as the wheels are different

I have an MY06 wheel with audio controls, with just a small nick in the leather sitting in my garage. ;)
Has anyone established if the audio control wiring is present in all cars?

I've split these posts out of Cat's topic to avoid polluting it ;)

You can see photos of my wheel in this topic: http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?p=36061#36061

The first step would be to check if you have a matching green plug.
You need to be VERY careful looking, because the airbag is right next to it.

Good idea about the new topic Ric :)

I'm afraid to take my steering wheel apart to see if theres a green plug lol can anybody else confirm if there is? Is it easy to do? I will call Subaru parts tomorrow as Cat suggested, hopefully they will know the answer!
