2007 STI vs 2008 STI suspension

Sorry if this topic has already been covered or if this is a silly question..

Is it just me, or does a stock 2007 Liberty STI look a lot lower than a stock 2008 Liberty STI.

Its been bugging me for a few days as I had a 2007 STI a few years ago and I do remember it being lower than my current 2008 STI.

I thought the 2007 I had might have had some suspension mods, but when I looked on carsales it does seem like the 07's are lower than the 08's. (See Pic).

The difference looks close to a full inch i would say.

Does anyone know why this is the case? Are the 07 Pinks lower than the 08 Pinks?

As far as I know, both cars have billies with sti pink springs on them.

Maybe the different pics show different levels of "shagged-ness"?

EDIT: we dont know what's in the cars either.

Hmm I know on paper they should be the same.

These pics are only examples that I have used as a comparison, all the 07's on carsales are a lot lower than the 08s on carsales.

It wouldnt be only with these examples but with all of them it would seem.

The 08's had sti branded Bilsteins which were a little softer when it came to dampening. I think they both had the same pinks.
