Best TMIC option that will work with vf36 twinscroll

Guys im currently on a vf36 with turbo xs fmic which i think is overkill and they td05 20g ill have to go on isnt too much bigger. Would it be ok to run an uprated tmic instead with this turbo, i can t see it making anymore than 370-380bhp on the fuel available to me. Looking for the more stealthy setup. FMIC attracts a bit to much unwelcomed attention sometimes!

Process West TMIC is the one and only TMIC you want to have.

- fits any stock turbo setup (just double check when buying, has differing pipes to match different turbos)
- cools like you wouldn't believe a TMIC can (comes with it's own custom under-bonnet shroud)
- very high quality construction (fantastic flow, fit, strength)

Only downside is - it's a little pricey at $990 AUD....


Ps. Make sure to get the silver/original version and not the black painted stuff, for best results (unless you really like black. Sorry Rob, joking!)

Its not so bad so it can work with Sti style turbo with legacy/liberty intake manifold? Where's the best place to buy one online? I don't see them in stock anywhere

Hmmm...I bought mine from pro speed racing; Car mods Australia are perhaps the biggest PW vendor here in aus, as PW are aussie too. Their official price is $990, while PW themselves sell it for $1100. Perhaps CarMods can offer you free delivery if you let them know RSD have it for the same price?

Rallysportdirect have awesome customer service and delivery times/prices with UPS, but I doubt they would bargain on price/delivery.

Yeah, I have their TMIC with an sti style turbo with the legacy manifold, it just as easily matches a vf46/52 style turbo, just change the silicon piping on the hot side (make sure to get the right pipes for yourself/ask the staff).

There's 2 types of PW tmic:
Sti type: longitutudinal flow for straight turbo outlet to y pipe to metal inlet mani.
LGT 08+ Wrx type: transverse flow for flanged outlet to plastic mani

from what i have read you can get the LGT 08+ Wrx type and a additional hose to make it work with a vf36 stle turbo

cheapest shipping option i got from carmods australia is $448 with TNT, anbody know any other companies that ship internationally i could ask them to check out for me? Do local aussie post do tracked and insured international shipping?

Meaning you buy the tmic to suit your inlet mani type first (eg metal/central inlet or plastic/offset inlet), and turbo outlet type second, the latter with the appropriate adaptor/ piping to suit the turbo type.

yep i figured that out, so seems like rallysportdirect from the US can do me the best price so far and have confirmed fitment for me, shipping from them is only $120 with UPS, ill wait and see what Carmodsaustralia come back with for shipping with Auspost before i pull the trigger, next on the list if facelift front bumper to replace my butchered pre-fl bumper that has been bumped more times than i remember and was butchered to fit the Turboxs fmic
