This may be dumb, but can you site there in staging with it in N and you holding, say 3,500-4,00RPM to heat the headers up before you approach the line?

I've never been to WSID, but this would be possible at Willowbank...and now I'm wondering if I have a similar problem because my 60' times are similarly bad given what I've seen other autos with similar power to my LGT can do (my own Forester included!)

Yeah tried all that Sean

Ask the guys watching I was revving my car like the biggest dick head to the point Marshals were telling me to stop - just to get the heat back up but alas no good

Your spec c headers are stainless too albeit slightly smaller piping and better heat shielding etc from factory - but yes you may be getting some slight heat loss

With your turbo I dare say you could hold it for 5 seconds and spool to 3400rpm and launch with 15psi

That would get your 60ft time down to 1.7'ish

There's always that one dick head

Well I guess I'll be heat wrapping my headers in addition to the factory shielding.

Under 2.0s 60' would be fantastic!

I guess short of NOS now mate, any other ideas???

Honestly yours should spool fine mate

Twin scroll goodness

I think you're not holding the brake enough. The stall hits a wall before building boost but you need to hold it

At least a few seconds

What about a set of post facelift headers with a custom up pipe?
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

I have the tomei/ kando / gtspec headers (all exactly the same) - stainless equal length single scroll

Killer b headers would be better than these I think but I don't really want to go spending another $1200 odd on headers now

Ian - post facelift liberty headers? Did you mean preface twin scroll ones? I don't quite get the idea - single scrol unequal length headers off the 2.5 won't make over 250 atw ever

Twin scroll preface lib ones maybe a little more but cant see them supoorting the current power

I have forgotten is this thing twin scroll? Was thinking if single scroll try some post face lift stockers with the cast bits and smaller cross pipe to try and keep the heat in/exhaust velocity up.
How much it chokes up top mighy come into play though.

I'm not going back to any stock headers unless they're twin scroll jdm Sti ones guys

I'm working on my antilag today. Playing around with various things to make it work

Next option is spark plug in headers connected to button to make it spool.

Failing both the above then unfortunately it needs a 25-50hp shot of nos to just dab a minute amount into it on spool up and off we go
