Double DIN Dash Mount

Hi, was hoping to install a double DIN satellite/entertainment system into my 08 Gen lV using this cubby replacement from AVO.

However when I spoke to an installer he told me it wouldn't fit because of a structural beam in the dash. Has anyone installed a full size Double DIN unit into this position?

Not that I'm recommending the product, but something like this might fit if you're not keen on doing a Nexus install.

Did you buy a display panel relocation kit too?

He's correct - there's a structural beam that prevents anything deep (like a head unit) fitting in that space
