JDM HID conversion in pre-FL Gen IV

I'm sure this has been done before, but I cannot for the life of me find anyone that has or any info about it

I'm sure I'm going to need to splice in the new plug to suit the JDM head lights; but other than that, is there anything I should be aware of? (self leveller likely not going to be connected

)

Do the pre-FL JDM hid's have self leveler?

I'm almost certain there's one in the JDM headlight. Could be wrong though

I'd go that route, but I already have the JDM head lamps

I think I'm going to have to sit down with a multimeter and find out what's what...
