i recently noticed these have popped up on japanparts.com for the early model gt libs from a company called burnout.

after seeing how good similar fenders look on a tb sti spec b i must admit im kinda tempted to try out these.

at the end of the day the question is, are they worth the trouble of ordering, importing and painting / fitting? :?

thoughts?

I also saw these as well. But they are only for the A~C series (MY04-MY06) and they had 2 vents rather than 1. That's why I needed Phat to custom order mine.

Where is this? If I had known that I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of mine! :D

At the end of the day it's a matter of why you're modifying your Lib to begin with. These do not add any power nor do they dramatically effect appearance. However the uniqueness factor is high. For me I just wanted to try something different (I'm sure others may have tried and if they have I haven't heard or seen them yet).

Is it flared as well as vented?

If not flared, you can get a panelbeater to vent it, and bog with fibreglass + mesh. I've seen my panelbeater do it on bonnets and fenders before.
