Too scared to thrash the Lib. I can build a race grade 4AGE for under the price of a factory rebuild of an EJ255. I can also blow 10 T50 gearboxes for the price of 1 STI 6 speed.

so true! one day ill take mine to the track

Thanks Mick, standard JDM brakes with Project Mu rotors + pads on the front and Project Mu fluid.

1'44 was my goal on this setup, as the previous record was a 1'45 on street legal tyres. I'm currently 1 second off the guys running R compound tyres, which I'm aiming to smash on A050s after I get my gearbox and diff rebuilt.

So a few things have happened lately.

I've replaced my block with a brand new STI short block with killer B bits and 11mm oil pump, Tomei HG and ARP studs for the added reliability. Conservatively tuned to 253kw at the wheels on E85.

....then I got hit by a postie truck at the post office, so they're paying for a brand new front end and full car respray to colour match.

Worst thing about it is that my Shockworks coilovers arrive next week and the car won't be ready for development :(
Might have to borrow Jaydece's car...

I'm not confident your car will be suitable for stage one development though (it will be very harsh). I put a new engine in running low boost for preparation...

No it's still healthy. Speedworks have it, building it to take 400kw for Revzone's STI.
I got a spectacular deal on the new block so I decided to freshen it up. Ran it in on Joe Gibbs 5w30 and tuned 2 weeks ago.
