WTB: 07/09 GT-B wagon modded

Postby VonSchulze » Tue Jun 24, 2014 7:28 pm

Hey guys & girls

In the market for a wagon no older than "07 & at least 180kw@w, don't want to spend more than 20k on her.
She will be going to a great, loving home & will no doubt have more done her once in my procession,
So if you have been thinking about it let me know. I have been through carsales, gumtree, Rexnet & this awesome sight of course, have one or two wagons in mind but thought I'd let other potential sellers know as I don't see too many liberty wagons move to new homes quickly.

Thanks Guys & Girls.

Theres quite a few wagons on here that fit your desires... but dont forget that wagons are dearer than sedans so you may have to lift your price point a few thousand.

Good luck with it though!

Thanks buddy, yeah I know thee ol' wags is a bit more but for the past 6 months or more that's what they've been going for, there's been wagons over 20k on carsales for flipping months & months now, it's unfortunately a buyers market as I know all to well myself having just so my wagon.

Cheers for the luck though Peadya100.

Hahaha.. yeah mine does fit the profile, but i only bought it a year ago so still madly in love with it.

I love what you said about it being a "buyers market"... i think every person looking to buy a car uses that line. When i sold my previous liberty i had people making ridiculous offers telling me that.. i just laughed and said "good luck".

In all honesty, if someone has sold a wagon for 20k or less they were either about to die and needed the money, or it had very high kms.

I really think youll need to up your price point to at least 22-24k to get a good one. Especially if you want one thats been lightly modded.

But you never know, you might get lucky. But you might have to wait a year or 2 for them to drop to that price before you do.

If I find one that I think has the right mods & km's so I don't need to spend an extra $5k I would spend 22-24 but we'll see.
1yr no doubt your still in love I just sold my love of seven years, "00 wag that treated me very well & I her.

Well i wish you luck with finding one.. it took me 3 months to find mine and had to go all the way to SA to get it.
Dont be scared to buy interstate for the right one... allow $200-$300 to get it inspected, and then $500-$600 to get it transported back. In my case i drove mine back.. more fun!

P.s. i just had a look on redbook.. maybe you will get one for 20k.. i stand corrected. Best of luck!
