go see someone else, thats pretty poor.
I think i know who it is already.
if u need a TMIC & exhaust, see Mick. I could probably supply an AVO TMIC in 2 days if required still.

well let me just say that subaru AUS is fitting non Brembo STI brake lines to the 07 STI Libertys and thats a 100% FACT .but in saying that the front will be OK but the back is a real streach tight fit with no room for movement as the STI corect fit ones are longer

I'm guessing the 08 Liberty STi's would be the same?

If so, is it a worthwhile upgrade to the STi Brembo brake lines? Cost?

Cheers

Interestingly, below is the response that i just received from Subaru Australia regarding the brake lines used...

With regards to your question, the MY08 Liberty GT Spec B Tuned By STI does indeed feature the genuine Subaru braided brake line kit as standard.

Having dealt with both Subaru Australia and Phat GT, I'm afraid I'd take the word of an expert rather than someone who is making it up as they go along.

(That means the latter)

No Michael, you are the latter, Subaru Australia are the former. I'm saying I'd trust the latter to be right, not the former. Hence, your latter statement above is wrong, because I was in fact saying I'd trust your former statement to be right. Simple?

Basically, when it comes to credibility:

Phat GT >>>>>> Subaru Aust

:D

My supposedly stock MY07 GT-B pulls 145kw @ the wheels proven on two different dynos...

I laugh hard at the "Completely stock, honest" slogan cause I bought my car with 6000kms on it and have not touched it and its got more power than it should but I am not complaining. I was wondering why 6.0L commodores can't catch me.

Wasn't it determined that your car probably had the V-Tune done on it? Because 145kw completely stock is very hard to fathom on any level.
