Basically just a tuning tool.. It allows tuners to reprogram / remap your ECU (it’s the “just software being installed” option).. Will give a stock Lib 2.5T about a 25kW power boost for about $2K.. The prices are pretty steep but with that kind of power upgrade I think its worth it.. No rewiring of anything, just plug and play.. It allows you to keep all the options that come with your standard computer.. When I brought my last car (HSV GTS) it had an aftermarket computer and I lost a lot of options in my trip computer, SO I spent $$$ getting the original one replaced and took it to someone that could remap the original computer.. From what I can gather keeping/remapping stock computer is good for a performance road car, but aftermarket comp is probably better for a purpose built track car with massive & constantly changing mods..

that document starts by saying "EcuTeK Flash2002 is a Windows based software package" AHH windows based lol.. if its anything like my PC im scared lol
