3.0R Spec B 6MT from NZ

Postby McDoof » Mon May 12, 2014 8:53 am

Hi
I have been driving my MY05 3.0R Spec B 6MT sedan since September 2013
One of the few ADM spec versions here in NZ as most are JDM imports
At the moment she is pretty much stock, Black on black leather. :-)
35% Tints all round
Philips LED DRL lamps
Anycarlink 1080B for aux, SD card, USB and bluetooth connectivity
Kicker Comp 8 Sub upgrade and sound deadening on the parcel shelf.
Kido tuned
Plans for new sway bars and some slightly lower springs to even out the stance between front and back and a 3rd Cat delete from the exhaust.

This is my second Legacy/Liberty after having had a JDM MY00 GTB Twin Turbo

Just added a Kicker Comp 8 Sub to replace the stock unit.
I wouldn't say that it's amazing, but the bass is much cleaner. Buttery almost compared to the stock sub. It does come to life at higher volumes compared the old one.
Needed to make a 20mm spacer and some sound deadening to get it to clear the boot lid workings. Now it is a perfect fit.
