Hi All,
Forgive me if the answer is on here somewhere already, but I've tried searching to no avail.
I test-drove a 2006 GT TBSTi recently and it had really great steering feel. In the end I decided it was a bit hard-riding for a family car, but I'd love to get some of that feel on my MY07 GTB.
This history page suggests the MY05/06 TBSTi's front strut brace and rear lateral link set are responsible for the sharper steering:

Do you agree? There are so many posts saying how strut braces are waste-of-time pieces of engine bay candy, it's hard to sort fact from fiction.
My suspicion is that bushes (esp. LCA bushes) may have played a large part in the TBSTi's superior feel - am I correct in guessing STi swapped a lot of the rubber ones out for poly?
Anyway I'd be interested to hear from people who have installed any of these parts in a regular Lib about what they think works best...the steering of the TBSTi was really good.
