Sounds like exactly Patrick (Agan) said about his car... "I wasn't going to mod it..." And now look! hahah!
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

Now you can start saving for injectors and a pump ( you know there's no point resisting it)

haha. Dont tempt me!

If anything Id want to do the TMIC, and shocks. But my mrs is putting a halt to anything else for now. Not just that, I'd only consider something else when Matt makes another return late in the year/early next year. So far on this 'safe' tune Ive noticed the car just wants to boogie. Can only imagine once Matt gets his hands on it, what it's potential will be. Oh and my car loves the cooler weather we have been having too.

Thanks Michael. It's progress in the making. I can't do a lot to it, so the little things are often the best.

Spec B front bar's arent cheap or commonly seen around here. But yeah I'd love it. The only issue is I'd need to replace the front lip to suit again. :?

Ok, been having some thoughts.

- Plasti-dip the grille wings
- Fit some Rota Gravel/PWR's in black.
- Possibly lower it (not sure on this, if I do lower it, it would only be by an inch as I want to maintain ride quality)

Question is. will it look right? Can anyone provide pics or Photoshop my car with these upgrades on?

Do the grille wings. I did it on my car and I really like the look. I used plasti dip, it'll take you 45 minutes and you can always peal it off. :)

Car looking good by the way shav.

Spec B front bumper would look good, but I like the regular front bar too. I haven't thought about changing mine.

Thanks Chris.

Yeah Im not overly concerned with changing my front bar just yet. I like the current Post FL bar for now. Yeah the grille wings seems like the way to go, and as you say can peel it off if I dont like it. I'd only give it a shot if I went the black wheels though.

Thoughts on the wheel choices?
Cheers

I think the grille wings would look fine even without the wheels. You've got black and white number plates (like me) and I think it further matches those.

Personally, I wouldn't go with black wheels on your car. I think the whole 'murdered' look has been done a fair bit now. I think the Gravels would look better from an aesthetic point of view than the Spec B's in black because you'll see more of the brakes (so it breaks it up a bit).

Thanks for your honest thoughts mate. You car and my car are very similar.

Im still tossing up if I should bother with aftermarket wheels or not. The fact is, I really like the Spec B rims. Always have, but they are just a bit too skinny for handling reasons. Maybe I should lower it a bit and see how it looks then???
