bear in mind the charcoal ones only come in 17" according to subaru..... which will not clear the brembos, hence why the tb sti only came in silver

WTF
i was told and so were others here that there was no colour choice with the 08 unlike the 07 tb sti, due to the charcoal not being big enough to clear the brembos, they only came in 17"
anyone here able to get charcoal 08 tb sti in 18s?????

I asked Subaru Vic Park when I had a sneak peak of #1 / 250 MY08 Lib tuned by sti.(posted pics here I know). I asked them about wheels and they said 18" charcoal or silver like the MY07. I cant believe that Suby would put 17" rims on some of the 08's just because of the colour? Different designs this year but both 18"rims.

Yeah i havent seen anything in charcoal for the 08 model sti. Seen only silver rims roaming around so Tony may be right.

DAM
i heard this from a few dealers........... i think they had problems with too many people wanting the charcoal wheels on the 07, so the 08 only got the one colour, i could understand the whole inventory issues for subaru.
time to start an eoi thread....lol

The gunmetal wheels are just way better looking on the tuned by sti Libs in my opinion and especially the OBP ones. With the MY07 I was told that there were two wheel colours and two car colours offered in both wagon and sedan with auto or manual. That's 8 variables over 300 cars offered. First in best dressed as they say.
