2011 Spec R Seats into MY07 Liberty Question

Hi Guy's,

Does anyone know if 2011 WRX Spec R Recaro seats will bolt into a MY07 Liberty GT? I guess another issue maybe the airbag connector!

Any advice or whereabouts to get a conversion brackets/mounts and how the airbags will connect would be appreciated

You might need to take your stock seat rails off and put them into the STi seats.

A couple of guys have put these seats into SH Forester (built on the same platform as the B5/9) so it should be doable

Wouldn't mind knowing as well, update us if you do go down the path of doing this... I haven't looked at the specs and info on the seats but i'm assuming they're electronic?

Even then it requires some work to make the airbags work properly as the plugs are not the same

They look the goods. Looks like they have a heap more bolstering then the stock spec b bucket seats. Now to go rob a bank to afford some....... :twisted:
