Metal mesh.

Ya reckon? I always thought the Aurion looks more like the K2 Gear front. :D

Whilst I wouldn't want to clean them, those wheels are possibly the most stunning I've ever seen on a Liberty.

The lip looks good, I almost bought it... but was too scared that it would scrape even more than the STi lip at the sides... :?

You need to buy enough stuff from Phat to put his kid through college ... which is what I'm doing.

Haha. My car won't be the only one, Mr. Connoisseur.

tangcla wrote:I almost bought it... but was too scared that it would scrape even more than the STi lip at the sides

It's slightly lower than the STi one, but the main thing is that it protrudes out from the car a bit more as well. So far some minor scrapes but nothing that would shear the lip right off. I should order some spares though.

Heh-heh. Still looks stock doesn't it? I still get asked if I have any plans to lower it in the future. :glare:

But yes, you can go lower than that, which is the great part of having coilovers. However there's a reason a lot of people don't go that low. Unless you plan to have your car on display at an auto show and not drive anywhere else, you'll find getting around will result in scraped or ripped front bumper, side skirts, and exhaust parts. Just not practical IMO.

More comfortable than the general perception of coilovers. This was my main reason for hesitation for going with coilovers. But I was very surprised at the ride quality. Better than stock on some compact cars.

I think any lower would look stupid and spoil the classy appearance it currently has, don't touch it!
