Postby Jimmayboy » Wed Feb 26, 2014 6:36 am

Hey guys i wanna change my Subaru Liberty MY08 2.5i McIntosh factory headdeck for something else, I was wondering if anyone knows a place in Sydney that do it and isn't Autobarn and JBHIFI because i heard they're just useless.

Thanks guys

You heard right. JB HiFi put a stereo into my father's car many years ago, and didn't include a booster for the antenna, so the AM radio reception was shit. Even I managed to get that right when I replaced the stereo in my Bora.

Add Strathfield Car Radios to the list of useless.

FHRX have a great reputation for doing things right. That's where I'll be going to get my audio issues (tinny speakers, some buzzing in some speakers, some vibrations in panels that need dampening, etc) sorted once they become the top priority (there are other priorites for the car right now).

They are the top installers in Sydney (if not Australia)

Most definately not shut down. Give Marty a call on his mobile. http://www.fhrxstudios.com.au/aboutus.asp

Yes you'll pay premium price at FHRX but at least you'll know everything is done correctly. A mate of mine didnt take my advice and took his install to a so called "PRO" shop... ended up with wiring worse than an install i did when i was 16!!!!
08 H6 Liberty Wagon Stealth Install

Front Stage - Crescendo 8.9B | Front Amp - Arc Audio KS300.4
Sub - IDMAX 10" | Sub Amp - Arc Audio KS1000.1

Sound Deadening - Dynamat Xtreme | Entire Floor | Trunk | Trunk Lid | Doors
Installer - FHRX | Sound Deadening - Me, myself and I

+1 for FHRX, they are who I'll be going to when I decided to upgrade the BRZ sound system
