Nearly everything is in here to start with.

Just test drove the 07 GT Spec B

Postby Mo_GT » Tue Nov 28, 2006 12:03 pm

Hey All,

I'm sitting at a local Sube dealership - my car is in for a service, i have time to kill...

I went on a test drive in the new 07 GT Spec B. In short I like it better than my car!!! Instead of saying what i like about the car (since its pretty much everything) i'll say what i didn't like:

1) cup holder lights
2) interior looks and feels a bit cheap - leather quality, the ash tray bit and the new steering wheel.
3) hate the rear bumper vents

Stand out things i really really liked:
New 6sp box is great!!! Its such a smooth box (for Subaru :) ), feel of the steering wheel - it feels a bit smaller and is thicker too. I thought the many buttons would get in the way but they didn't.

Still have another 45mins to kill... hmmm

Bye,
Mo

Hey Phil.

What mileage have you got on yours now? We're up to nearly 4000ks and it's still getting quicker. :!:

Only thing with the fun button, is it doesn't work so well when the car's loaded up.

Yeah, it did. Pulled really nice, drive was as smooth as my car, found the gear box to be realy suited to toe and heel at coners as well as slowing down.

The turbo on these feels like slighlty larger/more flow - pulls quite well up to the redline. Car pullede up to about 150 -160 pretty quick!
