Looks like lots of people still seeding that torrent when I check... I think you just need to wait and it will download eventually.

I downloaded the C2 version fine (thanks for the links and to the seeders), but I wondered whether I have the latest or need to do anything else. Once loaded, on the Version page of my nav system it says 8900 and 2012.1 Is that correct?

Do I need to do anything to reset stuff? It seems to be working, better than the last update I downloaded anyway.

Yes that's correct, that is what mine says also.

Nope just put the disc in and you'll have the latest maps.

Apparently V20 (C1) is out and V20 (C2) will be out very soon - anyone have them and want to share? (or want to buy it for $295 and share  )

thanks for the reply, I traveled down a newish road today, peninsula link freeway in Vic and it is still not on the map. Seeing as it has been in planning for ages and open for more than a year it is a bit disappointing that they are so slow in updating their maps. At least I didn't pay for old maps :)

I can't seem to get mine to update, downloaded c2 v19 off pirate bay and tried burning it twice onto a DVD-r and it just says check disc when I put it in the car, anyone got any idea what I'm doing wrong?

When you burn the iso, I verify the burn to make sure it is ok. Maybe try different disc as when I did it a few years ago the disc started but being read after a short while.

I verified it the second time I tried burning it and still no dice, I will try and re-download it and then try again, fingers crossed!

Okay this may be obvious (to me) but just checking... you guys that are having problems are actually putting the disc in the correct slot aren't you and not the DVD audio slot?

i.e.
Step 1. Remove McIntosh bezel (suggest using a trim removal tool as shown)

Step 2. Eject the original Sat Nav disc and replace with the new one

If you're not doing this you're doing it wrong and I expect to see some  red faces.

I put my tool in the side slot of the cover, maybe that's why it didn't work originally!

Did you check what version you needed before downloading? I think 2006 Liberty needs C1 not C2. There's a link in this thread somewhere if you look.

When you burn it, did you burn it as an iso, or just try to copy it to disc? It needs to be burnt as an iso file, so when you download it (windows I presume) you need to use the iso burning utility. I think I right clicked on the file and selected burn to disc, with verify. If you did all that I can only think it doesn't like the discs you use. DVD-R are different to dvd discs and some are not picked up by readers only designed for origina dvd. My suggestion would be to try a new type of disc, and do not use dvd-rw.

For very detailed instructions on how to burn the iso to disc, read driscoll_86's post here:
