Thanks Phil, guess it won't hurt to give it another shot. You speak very highly of him!

PM sent.

Anyway, back to my wheel-related questions! Can somebody help me out, I'd like to see how much Nengun can sell the wheels for but I don't know what to choose from their ordering page:

Clarence has helped me out a little so far by saying i need 5x100, and with 8" wide wheels but he doesn't know what offset. I've tried to read up about it and I'm totally confused can somebody lend their expertise! I'm happy to start learning!

Depends on how low you have it :) the lower you go, the more it'll rub.

I didn't get rubbing on my +42s either, until I got my coilovers from Alan

Yeah, it's hard to rub with factory or even STi springs. Just not low enough. Move to Teins, Pedders, or coilovers and it's a different story. Bah! Nothing rolling the guards can't help with.

lol

ive put some thought into it and I'm gonna go for springs, just don't know how much I should lower it by. Anybody have suggestions? I saw an old thread by Phil and I really liked his ride height, I think he lowered it by 40mm on tein springs. I'm probably also going to purchase an STi front lip spoiler as well so does anybody have some advice? I don't want it to be a nightmare ordeal going over speed humps and whatnot but I do want it to look aesthetically pleasing and low enough to compliment the 19" wheels!

The Tein S.Techs will lower your Lib by 25mm front and rear. Although that doesn't sound like much on paper, it actually sits quite nicely, especially if you're planning on 19" wheels. Not too high, and not too low. Just about right.

Phil has S.Tech's with the STi lip and so did I at one stage and I didn't find any issues with clearance or speed humps, as long as you are cautious around them. The only time I scraped the lip was when I parked too far forward and it made contact with the parking block.
