wtb: front camber bolts for gen 4

Postby circlethesky » Sat Mar 08, 2014 10:28 am

I need slightly more camber on my fronts as I didn't quite get enough stretch out of my tyres and they are a few mms outside the guard.
Let know if you have anything.

I'm guessing you've maxed out the stock camber bolts?

How much camber are you running?

Without drilling out your strut mounts or getting new camber tops with more adjustability there isn't much you can really do...

Flare your guards abit?

Do you have a pic of your camber tops?

I have nearly identical wheels and mine don't scrub much with 1.5 degrees (mines probably a bit lower too)

These are my camber tops:

They don't really give much. I think the problem is also the sidewall of my tyres being too hard and obviously the offset of the rims is too much.

Thanks for those links, how crazy is this shipping to aus though!

they have a dealer near me so i'll give them a ring on tuesday to see if they can help me out. Otherwise i'll get those ebay ones and see if they can give enough adjustment.

cheers guys

Depending on how low you are, those strut tops with even stock camber bolts should give you 2.5 degrees of negative front camber, which is quite a fair bit on anything up to 8" wide wheels.

Dont run 2 cammed bolts in the front struts, your alignment will last 1km at a time.
you need the bottom bolt to be static and not move.
I would highly suggest camber tops, then you can also get extra castor.
