08 liberty - radio problems need help please

Postby Sidsy » Thu Mar 06, 2014 8:40 pm

Hey guys - several months ago my radio/audio button on my sat nav system stopped working. The other 4 buttons work and my sat nav works fine, however, my Bluetooth also doesn't connect anymore.
Basically I can't change stations or change to aux/am/fm2. If it were to work there is a delayed response but does not appear on the screen. Also the volume button spins without increasing volume noticeable in correct timing. Again very delayed (ie 5 times clockwise for sound to go up and vice versa).
I have had an auto electrician look at it but no joy. Can someone please advise?????

Thanks

Is it the McIntosh system? Instead of stuffing around trying to fix it you can just buy a replacement.... Might cost you about $100'but it would save a heap of shitting around.

+1 for this. Sounds like a keypad failure or Main board failure. Either way ditch it and get a new 1. Will save you a lot of headache.
