Loving her Ladyships Baur, such a relaxed drive, crosses any speed bump at speed and cruises in a totally different headspace. Turns out its freakishly mint and the bulk of any required rectification is well within my capability. 8)

Evidence surely of Matt's recent visit ( :P ) I was buzzed in traffic twice this eve by some twit in a preFL H6 sedan who needs to learn traffic flow, and that Baurs simply don't GAF anyway. X in their plate but surely no-one here, right?

Anyway the Baur received the Trutrack seal of approval today courtesy of Ralph and the team. :good:
My new s/h shocks for the Lib are also getting dyno tested and fettled further before fitting :nyam:

I do not think there is a single H6 left in Victoria I have not tickled.

Whats up?
I'm loving the latest tune revision from Matt and I know many others on the forum do too ;)
Its just gruff off boost, feels as if its keening at the bit...
I received some nice stuff in the mail...
A Kobe MAF hose to inlet hose adapter, thanks Jackson!
And some tasty HID D2S 5K bulbs and super baller spec reverse T10 reverse lamps, thanks Leo!

These vendors, online pricing, great choice and local service: no downside!

I updated my WTB ;)
WTB: 2.5T MAF sensor any condition: the airflow sensor can be damaged but the temp sensor (brown bulb on the outside) needs to work.'

I posted a new GB/forum discount: QFM Brake Pads 20% off RRP

I'm photographing the new Gen5 and BRZ/86 3D Mats

If the Forge BOV works well, and no reason it shouldnt, my GFB GT Hybrid BOV will be FS.
Why? Its capable of 50/50 recirc/atmo and so would suit someone who like such things.
Other than that untapped function, it works seamlessly on my Lib and fits in right under the engine cover too.

Hopefully I'll extract the digit and get the Perrin TMIC on soon with the silicone inlet & TB hose.

Ive had my eye on that exact style of cooler for a while now... Perfect fit, minimal trimming of engine cover... and the most aesthetically pleasing to me - which is obviously very important under a closed bonnet hahaha

Lots of mods happening all of a sudden Ben!! Looking forward to seeing how it all goes :D

Nothing much going on really, just sloooow stockpiling, and the missing piece of the puzzle is injectors, assuming I want to go that far.

Or sell the entire kit and buy Owens TS EWG FMIC kit

It would be rude not to Ben!
But in saying that, youre smart with your car and will never push the engine tuning too hard, so i wouldnt imagine youll be maxing out the stock injectors.

Youve gone about things the right way though... buy all the parts first and do it all at once. Saves you big $$$ on tunes :D

Compare the pair, Forge full recirc vs GFB GT Hybrid: they are very similar in size which means a great fit and no need to trim the engine cover.

Image
The outlet port on the Forge item is a little larger than this GFB - on which I had to use a strip of rubber to get a better seal on the OEM return hose.

Image
Due to the mounting flange on the stock tmic I had to use a paper gasket, despite the Forge BOV having a tasty O ring seal.
The flange is also adjustable for angle using the pin drive lock ring. So I'll need to find a pin spanner to get it a little tighter.
The GFB has a slightly larger diameter inlet piston...

Image
I like my engine bay to be free from rattles so a little high density foam taped to the BOV will quell noise and wear from any rubbing on the cover.
The whole cover is done like this at all possible contact points ;)

Image
Installed and sprayed down with soapy water to check for leaks: none!

Image
:assassin: The GFB will be FS soooon!

It's a complete kit for 190-240 ATW with crazy response.

I'll be running it at the very conservative end of the scale. 12-15psi thanks.
Headers BBturbo tmic inlet silicone etc.
I'm just sourcing:
the fueling items eg injectors, lines, fpr, STi pump controller with upgraded wiring & relay, CNG O rings for the DW65c etc etc.
install bits eg studs, gaskets, ti wrap, heatsheilds, turbo blanky, and the waterspray hoses and nozzles and checkvalve.

Not in any rush as the Lib is running great, and the research and sourcing is half the fun!

The idea is to enjoy an even juicier mid range punch with about the same low level of stress on the engine as stock.
To put it another way, stock boost but with more flow, smoother flow.
